St. Paul Park police reports: Feral cat bite; Mary statue stolen

A vehicle was reported stolen from outside Willie's Hidden Harbor, 388 Ninth St., May 19. Police are investigating.
A 17-year-old Little Canada man faces charges of vehicle theft, vehicle tampering and having no valid license. The vehicle was stolen from the 1300 block of Summit Avenue May 19. From inside his home, the vehicle's owner heard the someone start the engine and drive away. He had not given anyone permission to use the vehicle. A Washington County Sheriff's Office deputy saw the vehicle traveling on Highway 61 and initiated a traffic stop. Finding the 17-year-old as well as a 13-year-old Minneapolis boy in the vehicle. Nothing was missing from inside the vehicle and no damage was sustained.

A statue of Mother Mary was stolen from outside a home in the 900 block of Laurel Avenue May 16.
A Grey Cloud Island woman reported her granddaughter being bitten by a feral cat found in the area of the 5000 block of Pioneer Drive May 18. The girl was taken to the hospital for treatment and a rabies shot. Police provided a live trap. The cat was caught in a trap May 19 and taken to the South St. Paul Animal Hospital.
